    Terms of Use

    Conditions for using the platform and the business data available.

    Welcome to CNPJ Data. These Terms of Use ("Terms") establish the general conditions applicable to the use of the CNPJ Data online platform.

    By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, please do not use the platform.

    1. Definitions

    For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:

    • Platform: refers to the CNPJ Data website and online applications, including all resources, features, and services provided;
    • User: any individual or legal entity that accesses or uses the Platform;
    • Content: any information, data, text, graphics, images, messages, or other materials made available through the Platform;
    • Public Business Data: registration information about legal entities made available by official sources, such as the database of the National Registry of Legal Entities (CNPJ — Brazilian company registry ID), of the Ministry of Finance, through Receita Federal (Brazil's Federal Revenue Service).
    • Spreadsheets: files organized by CNPJ Data from the processing and structuring of public business data.

    2. Registration and Account

    2.1. To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account, providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.

    2.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities carried out under your account.

    2.3. You agree to notify CNPJ Data immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.

    2.4. Your password is personal and must not be shared. The platform never asks for your password by email, phone, or message outside of official authentication flows.

    3. Services and Features

    3.1. CNPJ Data obtains public business data from official sources, especially the database of the National Registry of Legal Entities (CNPJ), of the Ministry of Finance, through Receita Federal. This data is processed, organized, and made available in searches and spreadsheets to facilitate research and prospecting between companies.

    3.2. The business information made available in searches and spreadsheets is of public origin. It may include company registration data, address, registration status, economic activity, company size, contacts associated with the company, and the partner list in API queries, subject to the availability and freshness of the official source. In the public lookup, partner identification data is masked; the paid API returns the data available to authenticated access.

    3.3. Contacts that may appear in the spreadsheets are business contacts reported in the source database. CNPJ Data does not guarantee that a phone number or email address is personal, active, or belongs to the current person in charge of the company.

    3.4. CNPJ Data processes and organizes public data, but it is not the original source of this information. Updates, corrections, and completeness of the data depend on official sources and on the availability of the files used in processing.

    3.5. Services are provided according to the resources, limits, and commercial conditions stated on the Platform. CNPJ Data may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, databases, or content, while respecting the rights applicable to purchases already made.

    4. Use of the Platform

    4.1. When using the Platform, you agree to:

    • Not violate any applicable law, regulation, or rule;
    • Not interfere with the normal operation of the Platform;
    • Not perform reverse engineering, decompilation, or attempt to access the Platform's source code;
    • Not use the Platform for illegal, abusive, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes;
    • Not use the data obtained to send unsolicited bulk communications (spam);
    • Not share your account or login credentials with third parties.

    5. Intellectual Property

    5.1. The Platform, including its design, text, graphics, interfaces, code, and the services offered, is owned by CNPJ Data or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

    5.2. You receive only a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the Platform in accordance with these Terms.

    5.3. Public business data is not the exclusive property of CNPJ Data. You may use the spreadsheets you purchase for your legitimate activities, including B2B prospecting, without representing that the data or the public source belongs to you.

    5.4. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or make the Platform, its code, its brand, its data structure, its organization, or its features available as if they were your own. Use of the data must comply with applicable legislation, including rules on privacy, unsolicited communications, and data protection.

    6. Plans, Credits, and Payments

    6.1. The Platform's services may be used through registration, the granting of free credits, or the purchase of credits to use the available features. CNPJ Data does not offer recurring subscriptions in this model.

    6.2. Prices, usage limits, and other commercial conditions are detailed in the "Pricing" section or on specific pages of the Platform. Credits do not expire, unless a specific condition is clearly stated at the time of purchase.

    6.3. Payments are processed by Asaas or by other partners listed on the Platform and are subject to those partners' terms of use, including anti-fraud checks, the data required for billing, and possible transaction declines.

    6.4. Credits added to the User's account are tied to the registration used at the time of purchase and are intended exclusively for use within the Platform, in line with the purpose of the services offered.

    6.5. Refund requests must be sent to contato@cnpjdata.com.br. The review will be completed within 2 (two) business days, without prejudice to the rights provided under applicable law.

    6.6. Once the download of the purchased spreadsheet or file has been confirmed, the service is considered used and the purchase is no longer eligible for a refund, except in cases provided under applicable law or situations reviewed by CNPJ Data.

    7. Limitation of Liability

    7.1. The information made available on the Platform comes from official public sources, especially the database of the National Registry of Legal Entities (CNPJ), of the Ministry of Finance, through Receita Federal. CNPJ Data is not responsible for any inconsistencies, omissions, or outdated information in the original data.

    7.2. CNPJ Data does not guarantee that the Platform will be available uninterrupted or free of errors or failures.

    7.3. Under no circumstances shall CNPJ Data be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, resulting from the use of or inability to use the Platform.

    8. Privacy

    8.1. The use of your personal data is subject to our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

    9. Changes to the Terms

    9.1. CNPJ Data may change these Terms at any time, at its sole discretion, and such changes will take effect once the updated Terms are published on the Platform.

    9.2. Continued use of the Platform after any change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

    10. Governing Law

    10.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

    10.2. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the courts of the jurisdiction of Ribeirão Preto/SP, Brazil, to the exclusion of any other, however privileged it may be, except in cases where the law determines a different venue.
